- I grew up wanting to be famous enough to be on the Muppet Show. I'm a pet artist and started to make these sock critters to raise money for the homeless and abused pets around the country. www.adoptasock.blogspot.com They are one of a kind, just like all the wonderful, sweet animals at the shelter. Adopt a shelter pet if you can, if you can't or already have a house full, ADOPT-A-SOCK! A significant portion of the proceeds goes to help our shelter pets and you have a friend for life. Easy to care for too! NOTE: Not for very young children under the age of 4 or pets themselves, choking hazard!
